Sport Poomsae Announcement

To All Sport Poomsae Athletes, Coaches, and Fans:

I would like to express my sincere excitement about the growth of this displine within the AAU and take a few moments to let you know about the development of the Sport Poomsae program for AAU Taekwondo.
 
First, I want to congratulate Grandmaster Thac Nguyen on his efforts to promote and grow Sport Poomsae within the AAU. GM Nguyen is an executive committee member and has graciously accepted the responsibility of Sport Poomsae Coaching Coordinator.
 
The Excutive commetteee is also proud to announce the National Coaching Staff:

• Head Coach:  Grandmaster Kwangil Bae
• National Coach:  Grandmaster SangJae Lee
• National Coach:  Grandmaster Arnold Chung

In addition, AAU Taekwondo is honored to be hosting Sport Poomsae development symposium(s) to promote our 2nd Annual Sport Poomsae Nationals; team selection will be hosted on October 25th-29th at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL!

• With - Grandmaster Yeong Ae Se-8-time World Champion

AAU Taekwondo is committed to developing the next generation of Sport Poomsae Champions!  The first place winners at the 2019 AAU Sport Poomsae Nationals (Cadet 12-14, Juniors 15-17, and Seniors 18-30) will automatically be added to the AAU Sport Poomsae National Team.  By making the AAU Sport Poomsae Team, they will be funded to travel with the team to compete at an international competition to represent AAU Taekwondo.
  
This will be an exciting year for the growth of Sport Poomsae in the AAU and we hope that you will plan to join us.
