CHECK OUT THIS AAU TAEKWONDO NATIONAL QUALIFIER

The 2014 AAU Region 2 Taekwondo Championship will be Saturday, April 12th in Arnold, Maryland. This one day event will take over Anne Arundel Community College with events including Olympic Sparring, Forms competition, and Point Sparring. The entry fee is $65 for one or two events or $75 for three events if the entry is received before April 4th, Any entries received between April 5th and 10th will be subject to a $20 late fee per application. Keep in mind, NO “day-of” registrations will be accepted, so get your entries in soon!

Coaches passes will be $20 but for every three athletes registered, a free coaches pass will be given to their coach. The spectator fee will be $5 per person, with children 5 and under being free. The event will kick off on Saturday morning at 9:30AM with an Officials’ Meeting. At 10AM the Olympic sparring competition will begin, followed by the Forms competition at 12:30PM. At 2PM, point sparring will conclude the afternoon and the event. Athletes should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of competition.

Championship medals will be awarded to the top 4 places in each division.
